CROWN SHY - NEW YORK CITY
The April edition of The Walkers Table was equal parts intimate and exploding with energy. There was a total of 15 guests in attendance with the private dining room and seating setup being small enough to have conversations as a group as well as in individual pockets. Chef James Kent created a fantastic menu full of the beginning spring flavors and beverage director Harrison Ginsberg created some incredible cocktails featuring Johnnie Walker Black and Johnnie Walker High Rye. Freelance writer Céline Bossart accepted an invitation from Hunter PR to join. Would love to see some return or further development from our relationship with her. Notable guests included B.Q. Nguyen who hosts and ongoing bar takeover in NYC with a profound rolodex of social connections and stories. Javaris Lamont who created Weird And OK, a members club of supreme culture, growth and community for todays most eclectic and eccentric people. We also had Melissa Tropnas, Director of Content and Jasmine Cogdell, VP of Marketing for Blacktag, a global platform for black creators and content. Melissa and Jasmine would like to collaborate during June to create a Walkers Table during Pride month that features Black trans women and connects them with resources and opportunities for growth and recognition. Seamstress Eileen Wilson of Windy Haven Bridal was in attendance as well as Estelle Bossy, beverage industry giant. And a favorite guest of mine was Kafele Bandele, a musician I met while he was busking on the subway and playing the saxophone in the most soulful and hypnotic way. Total reach on Instagram was over 52k. This Walkers Table was electric and a great way to begin planning for the May edition.

The cocktails that Harrison Ginsberg creates are some of the very best in NYC and as Radical Hospitality Group expands, so does his impression on the NYC food and beverage community.
