PERILLA - CHICAGO


Our third installment of the Walker’s Table, taking place at the end of March. We were excited to work with the chef and staff to create Korean style beverages with Johnnie Walker to go along with the communal style dinner. We had 18 guests total, our largest dinner to date. Some of our guests included Aria Accetta (local Seedlip Brand Rep), Chris Russow (owner/operator of Round Two), Adam Witt (content creator for Omnivorous Adam), and other various industry individuals and small business owners. This dinner felt like our best one yet in Chicago. We had a very diverse group of individuals all in community with one another. I’ve been reached out to by various individuals hoping to collaborate with Johnnie Walker in the future after such a great event. Our reach was over 250k on social media. Closing the loop with guests who have reached out to do more Johnnie Walker events. Examples include Video Content with Adam Witt (181K on Instagram), and collab dinner with Joey Pham (Snackette, MSG, Flavor Supreme).

ABOUT THE LOCATION: Perilla Restaurant is named after a plant native to Korea and many East Asian countries. It is known to be very adaptable and is an homage to the owners' parents who are first generation immigrants who put down roots in a new country. Food is centered around a communal dining experience inspired by Korean flavors and ingredients.
